The 8070 EX was reviewed with the 21.6" Hannspree HG216DP Monitor. Although the PC Advisor review did not make any adverse comments about the 21.6" Hannspree HG216DP Monitor, in our experience, based on customer comments, we have found a lot of customers complaining about a blocky / pixelated display when using the 21.6" Hannspree HG216DP Monitor.
Customers tend to prefer the 22" LG 2242S which is available with the 8070EX as a free upgrade. Although the LG 2242S offers only VGA D-Sub input (as opposed to the 21.6" Hannspree HG216DP's HDMI and DVI capabilities) we have found that it has much better picture quality than the Hannspree.
The PC is still available with the 21.6" Hannspree HG216DP Monitor but for the reasons state above we recommend going with the LG 2242S.
If you choose to go with the Hansspree monitor and then wish to change it to the LG after the PC has been shipped, or vice versa, we will charge £47 for exchanging with the other monitor provided that the request to change is made within 5 working days of receiving the monitor and that the monitor is in as new condition with complete packaging.
